Want to change the "sensitive content" setting on X, formerly known as Twitter? You can prevent Tweets with potentially sensitive content from displaying in your search results using the official X website. Your changes will then be saved across any other mobile devices logged into your account. Here's how to hide sensitive content on Twitter using your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android.
Change Sensitive Twitter Content
To hide sensitive content on Twitter (X), log in to the X website. Click the More button and select Settings and privacy > Privacy and safety > Content you see. Uncheck the box for "Display media that may contain sensitive content.

1Click ••• More . You can find this on the left side of your X homepage. If you aren't already logged into X, enter your account information to do so now.
- A pop-up menu will open.
- Currently, you can only disable or enable sensitive content using the X website. You can use a desktop or mobile browser.
- This method will stop content marked as sensitive from appearing on your feed and other places on X. If you want to mark your own posts as having sensitive content, see the last section instead.

Click on Privacy and safety. You'll see this on the right side.

Click Content you see. This will be between the Your posts and Mute and block sections.

Uncheck "Display media that may contain sensitive content". When this box is unchecked, X will hide sensitive content on your feed.
- When you're finished, the setting will automatically save. You can exit out of the X settings.
- Your settings will apply to searches on the web, in your iOS or Android app.

Search for something. Move to the search box and type something to search, and hit the Enter key.

Check the "Hide sensitive content" box. If you want to hide blocked and muted from your search results, also check the Remove blocked and muted box.
