There hasn't been any official news if Netflix is making a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters, but the directors have shown a lot of interest in doing it. In multiple interviews, director Maggie Kang has mentioned that there were many side stories and unanswered questions leftover from the first movie that could be explored in a sequel.
Because the movie and soundtrack became so popular, there are insider rumors that Netflix will add to the KPop Demon Hunters franchise, including potentially making a stage musical, live-action remake, TV series, and movie sequels to make a trilogy.

I hope so!!
Netflix hasn't really said anything yet. I've been looking at the director's Instagram because she's very vocal about the whole process of how it came to be, and she's been mum.
But, I think it's it's inevitable. It's now Netflix's most-watched movie ever. There has to be a sequel.

Maggie recently said that there will be 2 more movies!!!! She said she might bring Jinu back too!!!!!!! :D

I think there will be. A lot of people are unhappy with the ending so they kinda have to. Honestly, I am too. Jinu giving up his newly acquired soul was just not a good ending. And there’s a bunch of things that they could do in the second movie. There are a bunch of questions to be answered too.

As of now, there hasn’t been an official confirmation of a KPop Demon Hunters sequel. However, the directors have said they’d love to expand the story world, and reports suggest that Sony (which holds the rights) is in early talks about developing a follow-up.
So while nothing is green-lit yet, there’s a good chance we’ll see more from the KPop Demon Hunters universe in the future—it’s just still in the discussion stage.
